This weeks challenge was to create the ultimate kids birthday cake, so I came up with a way to make EDIBLE melting crayons! I had a blast with this one, and I’ve never seen a melting crayon cake like this… I do believe it is a first 🙂
The crayon mixture was equal parts by weight of colored candy melts and pure cocoa butter. Melt the two ingredients together in the microwave JUST until melted- don’t overheat. Pour into bubble tea straws or crayon molds and let harden. Viola… Edible chocolate crayons that melt like the real stuff!
