We’re wrapping season one of Dan Can Bake It with Magnolia inspired RED VELVET CHEESECAKES!
That’s right, my challenge from Food Network was to create a Magnolia Bakery-inspired red velvet cheesecake and boy did the hard work pay off. These little guys were so scrumptious! Rich and creamy cheesecake with a smooth chocolate flavor and a hint of tart from the buttermilk. All atop a sandy chocolate wafer crust and topped with a slightly sweetened, pillowy whipped cream. I’ll take 3 please 🙂

Dan Langan’s Red Velvet Cheesecake, as seen on, Dan Can Bake it, season 1.
Made this for my families Christmas Day feast and it did not disappoint! Made into a full cheesecake instead of minis and recipes held up. Rich chocolately creamy goodness is the best way to describe it. Share some with some co-workers they couldn’t believe I made it myself though had bought it from a bakery! Thanks for an awesome recipe!
Hey Matt! Niiice! I’m glad that everyone enjoyed the recipe. It is one my my favorite cheesecake recipes. Happy Baking! -Dan
Hi, What’s the replacement for buttermilk powder? I don’t find it in India easily and I’m dying to make this recipe, please help!!
HI There! You could use regular powdered milk or even leave it out. Happy Baking!!!
